Live, she’s unstoppable." pc and FEMI first teamed up on pc's goth-funk version of Pixies' "I Bleed", which was produced by pc through Talking House, and will be released by East Coast-based American Laundromat Records in Fall '07 on the limited-edition version of Dig For Fire, a Pixies tribute record put together by Pixies Management and American Laundromat. Dig for Fire also features indie stalwarts The Rosebuds, They Might Be Giants, Mogwai, OK Go, J. Mascis of Dinosaur Jr., and many more. "We had a great time working together on the Pixies cover," pc continues. "This is a natural next step... these recordings will capture the energy and spirit of her live show. FEMI has shared stages with Les Nubians and Ozomatli; she’s rocked crowds in New York, Vegas, Philly, you name it. I look forward to working with her on her first official release."
